The main Spruce road is located at the top of the plot. Here there is a culvert under the road. At the base of the plot is the Lumberjack Trail. The surrounding forest is owned and managed by the MONF. Much of the area is considered back country and still remains in 2nd and 3rd growth northern hardwood forest.;Small and narrow, mostly rocky intermittent drainage channel. The plot is forested by mostly overhanging T2 and T3 trees. There are a few Acer spp as well as yellow birch and american beech trees and shrubs within the drainage. There are several dozen clumps of Aconitum reclinatum growing nestled in the moist areas between the rocks. At least 10 are still in fruit. The drainage flows over a mixture of both conglomerate sandstone and limestone rocks.
